How to Wire an HDMI Wall Plate

Step 1: Choose Your Location
An HDMI wall plate is a small panel that attaches to your wall. It provides a port where you can plug in an HDMI cable. Behind the wall, the plate connects to another HDMI cable. This cable runs through the wall to your television. This setup keeps cables hidden while making it easy to connect your devices.
Before you begin installing your HDMI wall plate, gather your tools and select the right location. It is essential to place it near your entertainment center. If you plan to mount your television on the wall, position it behind it to create a clean and organized look. Check behind the drywall, as there should not be any obstacles, electrical wires, or studs.
